n11 Commission Rates 2026: Category by Category and Extra Fees
n11 commission rates 2026: approximate ranges by category, the 20% VAT added on top of commission, extra service and marketing fees on your payout, and the settlement period.

On n11 commission, the two points sellers most often miss are which amount the rate is applied to and the fact that VAT is added on top of the commission. Sellers coming from Trendyol stumble here, because n11 works differently. In this article we have gathered, from a seller’s point of view, the approximate commission ranges by category for 2026, how the 20% VAT added on top of commission affects the math, the extra service and marketing fees that can appear on your payout, and when the money is actually deposited.
How does n11 commission work in 2026?
First truth: n11 does not publish its category commissions as a single fixed public table. The exact rate that applies to your store varies by category, product group, seller agreement, and any campaign/maturity arrangements, and it is shown on the commission/agreement screen inside n11 Satıcı Ofisi (the Seller Office). The figures we give below are approximate ranges — they point you in the right direction but do not replace your panel.
Second, critical truth: on n11 the commission rate is applied to the VAT-excluded sale base, and a separate 20% VAT is then added on top of the resulting commission amount. So the real amount deducted from your payout is higher than what you get by applying the rate directly to the price tag. This fundamentally differs from Trendyol’s model of “commission is calculated from the VAT-inclusive price with no VAT added on top.” You see the same setup on Hepsiburada, Amazon, and Çiçeksepeti; on all of them VAT is added on top of commission, while Trendyol is the exception.
Short rule: on n11, commission amount = VAT-excluded base × category rate, and what is deducted from your payout is commission amount × 1.20. Applying the rate directly to the VAT-inclusive price and saying “this much is deducted” understates the real deduction.
Step-by-step example
Say you sell an item to the customer for 120 TL and the item carries 20% VAT. The VAT-excluded base is 100 TL. Let your category commission be 15%:
- Commission amount: 100 × 15% = 15 TL
- VAT on commission: 15 × 20% = 3 TL
- Total commission deducted from payout: 18 TL
If you mistakenly applied the rate to 120 TL you would land on 18 TL by coincidence, but your logic would be broken; at different VAT rates (1%, 10%) or different prices the math would not hold. The correct approach is always to start from the base. Instead of doing these two steps by hand, enter the price, VAT rate, and category into the n11 commission calculator and let the commission and its VAT be separated automatically.
2026 category commission ranges (reference)
The table below shows approximate ranges based on n11’s general category structure. In high-volume, low-margin groups such as electronics the rates tend to be low, while in fashion and accessories they tend to be higher. Deviations by sub-category, brand, and campaign are normal. Always verify your exact rate from n11 Satıcı Ofisi.
| Category group | Approximate commission range* |
|---|---|
| Phones, tablets, laptops | about %6–10 |
| Major appliances, TV, white goods | about %8–12 |
| Computer components and peripherals | about %10–14 |
| Small home appliances | about %12–16 |
| Apparel, footwear, bags | about %15–20 |
| Accessories, jewelry, watches | about %15–20 |
| Cosmetics and personal care | about %13–18 |
| Home, living, furniture, decor | about %12–18 |
| Mother, baby, toys | about %12–17 |
| Books, stationery, hobby | about %10–16 |
| Pet shop, supermarket, consumables | about %12–16 |
| Automotive, DIY, garden | about %10–16 |
* The ranges are for guidance; as shown in the example above, a separate 20% VAT is added on top of category commissions. The general band is roughly %6–20, but the final word is always the rate shown in your panel. It is normal for a category to appear different in your panel than in the table — the panel wins.
The real lesson of the table: on low-priced items, knowing the rate is not enough. On a cheap product the shipping fee and fixed service items can take up more room than the commission. That is why you have to factor in commission not on its own, but together with all deductions.
Items beyond commission that can appear on your payout
Commission alone does not explain the amount reflected in your payout breakdown. Depending on the services your store uses and the programs you join, these items may also appear. Verify which ones apply to you from the agreement and account statement in the Seller Office:
Shipping fee
If you use n11’s contracted shipping, the shipment fee varies by desi, carrier, and any free-shipping campaign, and it is deducted from your payout. For a seller using their own contracted shipping, this item does not appear on the payout — you receive the invoice directly from the carrier. On a cheap product, shipping is often the biggest item; price accordingly.
Service and transaction fees
In some periods or for some seller types, fixed per-order or per-store service/transaction fees may apply. Whether they exist and their amount depend on your agreement; you will see them as a separate line on your account statement. Rather than assuming, the best approach is to read the line name in the statement.
Marketing and advertising fees
If you use marketing tools such as storefront placement, sponsored products, coupon financing, or campaign participation, their cost also appears separately on the statement. These items are independent of commission and arise entirely from your participation choices; if you see a fee for a campaign you did not join, it is grounds for a dispute.
Income tax withholding (1%)
On marketplace sales, the intermediary platform withholds 1% of the VAT-excluded sale amount as withholding tax and pays it to the tax office (Law No. 7524, since 2025). On a 120 TL (VAT-included) sale, the base is 100 TL and the withholding is 1 TL. This is not an extra tax but a prepayment offset against your income/corporate tax at year end — but it leaves your cash flow today, so you should include it in your payout calculation. For the details, you can look at the e-commerce withholding tax calculator. To see the VAT side as a whole, the e-commerce VAT guide will help.
When is the n11 payout (settlement) period?
On n11, the sale amount is not transferred to you instantly but according to a specific settlement schedule. The payout period varies by seller type, your agreement, and any early-payment/maturity arrangement. In practice, sales are paid in periodic cycles, but verify your specific day and cycle for certain from the payment/settlement screen in the Seller Office — a generic “it is deposited on this day” statement will not be correct for every store.
What matters is this: the amount deposited on payment day is not your gross sales; it is the net payout after commission, commission VAT, shipping, any service and marketing fees, and withholding tax are deducted. If you do not track these lines through the breakdown, you cannot see how much each deduction is eating.
Placing commission correctly in your profit calculation
Knowing the rate is not enough; you have to place it in the calculation correctly. Four rules:
- Fix the base: calculate commission from the VAT-excluded base, not from the VAT-inclusive tag. A wrong base breaks the math at different VAT rates.
- Add the commission VAT: on n11, 20% VAT is stacked on top of the commission. You can claim this VAT as a deduction on your return, but it leaves as cash on payout day.
- Do not forget the fixed items: shipping and any service fee are deducted as TL, not as a rate; on a cheap product these items can be larger than the commission.
- Spread withholding and returns: the 1% withholding and the return rate take a share of every sale’s profit — even if they do not appear as a separate line, they affect profit.
Instead of applying these four rules by hand on every product, enter your price, cost, and category into the n11 profit calculator and let commission, commission VAT, and withholding be subtracted automatically, and let it reverse-calculate the price you need to sell at for your target margin. If you want to see whether selling the same item is more profitable on n11 or on another marketplace, the marketplace profit comparison tool compares them on a single screen. To deepen the decision side, the articles which marketplace is more profitable and multi-marketplace sales strategy are a natural continuation of this table.
Three frequently asked questions
Is VAT added to n11 commission?
Yes. On n11, category commission is applied to the VAT-excluded base, and a separate 20% VAT is then added on top of the resulting amount. The total deducted from your payout is 1.20 times the commission amount. This differs from the Trendyol model; factor in this difference before using the rate as-is.
If there is a return, does the commission come back?
When the return process is completed, the commission refund appears on the payout breakdown. However, shipping and, if applicable, some transaction fees do not come back in most scenarios; a return zeroes out the commission but does not fully zero out the cost. Keeping this difference visible in your profit calculation is very important in categories with frequent returns.
Where do I see my own exact rate?
In two places: the commission/agreement screen in n11 Satıcı Ofisi (the rate in the contract) and the actual commission line on your payout breakdown (what was actually deducted). If the two do not match, there is either a campaign-period arrangement or an error — in both cases it is worth querying the statement line.
Knowing the rate is not enough — you have to track the deduction
Commission rates are updated from period to period, campaigns change category rules, and you only see the actual deduction on your payout breakdown. Verimle, once you track your sales, reads the real deductions of every order (commission, commission VAT, shipping, service and marketing fees, withholding tax) from the breakdown, derives net profit per product, and alerts you when a deduction is larger than expected. For a deduction it judges unfair, it prepares a dispute draft; it does not automatically bring the money back, but it shows what was over-deducted and why, with evidence in hand. Instead of memorizing the table, let the system track the deductions for you.
Source and update note
The rates and table in this article are indicative standard ranges; they vary by category, campaign, and the seller agreement specific to your store, and do not replace that agreement. Always verify the exact commission that applies to you from the commission/agreement screen in n11 Satıcı Ofisi. Once you have seen your exact rate, enter it into the n11 commission calculator and recalculate your net figure by separating out the commission, the VAT stacked on top of it, and the withholding tax.
