The money from a product you sell on Trendyol does not land in your account the same day. A sale's proceeds have to clear two thresholds: first the order's payment term matures, then the weekly payout day that covers that term arrives. The term ranges from 7 to 28 days depending on the category; the payout day, on the other hand, is fixed every week — it is calculated on Wednesday and lands on Thursday. In this article we give a clear answer to the question "when does my money land?" through a category-based term table, the weekly cycle and the cost of early payment. To run the numbers on your own figures, you can use the Trendyol Payout Calculator tool.
What is a payment term, and why does it change by category?
A payment term is the period after which a sale's proceeds become "payable". It does not start the moment the order is created; it matures after the product is delivered to the customer and the safe window of the return period has passed. After orders are confirmed, Trendyol deducts commission and other deductions and pays sellers on terms that range between 7 and 28 days. The length of the term depends on two things:
- Product category: in categories with low return risk and fast turnover the term is short; in categories with a high return rate or where sizing/fit can be a problem (apparel, footwear, electronics) it is held longer. The logic is simple: Trendyol does not want to finalize the money before the chance of a return has passed.
- Seller history and performance: store age, sales volume, your return/cancellation rates and your contract can pull the term down or up. Newly opened stores usually start with a longer term, and it can shorten as history accumulates.
That is why the question "how many days is the Trendyol term?" has no single correct answer. You see your own term exactly in the seller panel under Payments and Invoices / Upcoming Payments and in your current account statement.
Category-based terms: typical bands
The table below shows the typical term bands by category group. These are not exact days but a map to help you understand which category waits longer and why — the real term written into your contract appears in the panel, so treat that as the source of truth.
| Category group | Typical term band | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Fast-moving goods, cosmetics, household consumables | 7-14 days | Low return risk, fast delivery |
| Apparel, footwear, accessories | 14-21 days | High return rate driven by size/fit |
| Electronics, technology | 18-28 days | High value, defective-return and try-out risk |
| Furniture, large household items | 21-28 days | Long delivery, assembly and return processes |
The longer the term, the tighter your cash flow gets: in a category with a 28-day term you will see the money from a product you sell today about a month later, even though you paid the product's cost today. Mismanaging this gap is the number-one problem of stores that run out of cash while their revenue is growing. The term is a planning variable just as important as pricing.
The payout cycle: calculated on Wednesday, paid on Thursday
The term is specific to the sale; the payout day is fixed for the week. Trendyol's weekly rhythm works like this:
- Wednesday (around 12:00): all orders whose term has matured up to that week are gathered; returns, shipping, late-delivery and supply-failure invoices are deducted, and your weekly payout statement is formed. Transactions that occur Wednesday afternoon do not enter this payout but the next week's amount.
- Thursday: the calculated net amount is sent to your bank account.
So the full answer to "when does my money land?" is: delivery + category term + the first Thursday that covers that term. Let us make it concrete with an example. Say you have an order delivered on Monday in a category with a 14-day term:
- Delivery: Monday, 6 July
- Term maturity: ~20 July (14 days later)
- First Wednesday calculation: Wednesday, 22 July
- Payout: Thursday, 23 July
If the same product were in a category with a 28-day term, the money would land about two weeks later. You can track your upcoming payouts week by week from the Payments and Invoices / Upcoming Payments screen; and we explained how the payout is calculated line by line in the how is a Trendyol payout calculated article.
On the Upcoming Payments screen, tell the two tables apart: the This Week table shows the amount calculated for the nearest Thursday — it is largely finalized. The Next Week tables, on the other hand, are estimated payouts for the following weeks and change up to the last moment: newly delivered orders increase the amount, while incoming returns and invoices to be charged decrease it. That is why treating next week's figure as certain cash and planning your spending around it is misleading; the only finalized amount is the one calculated on that week's Wednesday.
Early payment: pulling the term forward
When you need money before the term is up, Trendyol's early payment system kicks in: you pull forward a receivable whose term has not yet matured, in exchange for a service fee. The cost is calculated daily and multiplied by the number of remaining days:
Applied service rate = Daily service rate × Average number of days paid early
The daily service rate varies by seller; your payment history, sales volume, the amount you request and how frequently you use early payment determine the rate. In 2026 this rate is typically in the band of 0.1% to 0.16% per day (roughly 0.10%-0.16%). A concrete example:
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| Receivable to be pulled forward | 10.000 TL |
| Daily service rate (example) | 0.14% |
| Days remaining until maturity | 8 days |
| Applied rate | 0.0014 × 8 = 1.12% |
| Service fee | −112 TL |
| Your net receivable | 9.888 TL |
Because the "net amount you will receive" is shown upfront on the request screen, you see the cost before you confirm it — there are no surprises. Requests are usually processed by the system on Tuesdays and Fridays, and the approved amount is reflected in your account the same business day.
When does early payment make sense?
In the example above, pulling forward by 8 days cost 1.12%; when converted to an annual cost, this rate is not cheap at all. Use early payment as an exception: it makes sense for an urgent stock opportunity, a short-term cash crunch, or a large amount locked up in a long-term category. Running on constant early payment cuts an invisible slice from your payout every week and quietly erodes your margin. The rule: early payment makes sense when its per-day rate is lower than the return of the opportunity you will earn or avoid missing with that money; otherwise, wait for the term.
Shortening your term and managing cash flow
Even though the term looks fixed by contract, it is not entirely unchangeable. You influence it from two directions: first your seller performance, and second the term profile of your product range.
- Lower your return and cancellation rate: the main reason a term lengthens is return risk. An accurate size chart, clear product images and honest descriptions lower the return rate; a low return rate works both to shorten your term and to reduce your shipping and return costs.
- Protect your deadline and delivery performance: handing over to the carrier on time, a low supply-failure rate and a good store score are signals that improve the terms Trendyol gives you. Trendyol does not state that your store score shortens your term through a direct formula, but weak performance always works against you.
- Diversify your term profile: if you sell only in long-term categories, your cash flow is always tight. Adding short-term, fast-turning products to your portfolio creates a steady weekly payout stream and fills the gap created by long-term products.
And one calendar detail: if Thursday falls on a public holiday or a day when banks are closed, the payout can slip to the next business day. Factor payout weeks that come before long holiday breaks into your cash plan accordingly; most of the "Thursday didn't land" panic is actually a public-holiday shift.
Stop guessing your term — track it
The term changes by category, the payout day is fixed for the week, and early payment cuts from the amount on every use — tracking these three variables in your head across hundreds of orders is impossible. When you connect your Trendyol account, Verimle automatically calculates the orders whose term has matured, the upcoming Thursday payouts and the expected net payout; compares them with the amount that landed and flags any unexplained difference for you. That way you answer the question "where is my money?" on a single screen every week instead of by hand. Explore the finance reconciliation feature — or first, for a single sale, see what you will pocket and when it will land with the payout calculator tool.
Note: The payment and payout terms above change according to your seller status, the campaigns you run and Trendyol's current policy; the bands and examples here are general/illustrative terms and do not replace your contract or the current official terms. The binding source is always the official channel: for current payment terms rely on the Trendyol Seller Information Center, and for your store's actual payment calendar and payout rely on the Trendyol Seller Panel.
