How Is a Trendyol Payout Calculated? Every Deduction, One by One (2026)

A line-by-line breakdown of a Trendyol payout: commission (invoiced VAT-inclusive), shipping, platform service fee, 1% withholding tax. What you actually receive on a 1,000 TL sale, and when the money lands.

When you sell a product for 1,000 TL on Trendyol, 1,000 TL does not land in your account — after commission, shipping (with its VAT), the platform service fee and 1% withholding tax are taken out, what is left is paid to you, and even that only lands once the order reaches its due date. In this article we explain when and how a payout is calculated, break down the deductions on a concrete 1,000 TL sale item by item, and cover why a payout sometimes lands short. To run the numbers with your own figures, you can use the Trendyol Payout Calculator.

What is a payout, and when does it land?

A payout is the net amount Trendyol pays you after all deductions (returns, commission, shipping, late-delivery and failure-to-supply invoices, and so on) have been taken out of the sales that reach their due date within a given payment period. The process has three parts:

  • Due date: the money for a sale becomes payable not on the day the order is created, but when the order reaches its due date. The due date starts counting after the product is delivered to the customer and is not reached until the return window closes; the due-date schedule (weekly, 15-day or monthly) can vary based on your seller agreement and sales volume. You can see your own due dates in the seller panel under the Payments screen and in your current account statement.
  • Calculation: according to the current flow on Trendyol Academy, the weekly payment calculation is completed every Wednesday; the orders that reach their due date by that point are pooled and the deductions are applied.
  • Payment: the calculated amount is sent to your bank account on Thursday. You track upcoming amounts in the panel under the Payments / Upcoming Payments tab.

So the answer to "when does my money land?" is: delivery + return window + the next payment day. The money for an order delivered on Monday does not land that same week, but on the Thursday of the week its due date falls in. If you need the money sooner, Trendyol's early payment system lets you pull forward a receivable that has not yet reached its due date; in exchange, a service rate of roughly 0.1% to 0.16% per day is charged, multiplied by the number of remaining days. Because the "net amount you will receive" is shown on the request screen, you see the cost before you confirm it. Rather than using early payment constantly, planning your cash flow by knowing the due-date calendar is almost always cheaper.

Which screens do you use to track your payout?

There are four screens related to payouts in the seller panel; knowing which one shows what lets you find the answer to "where is my money?" within minutes:

  • Payments / Upcoming Payments: the weekly payouts that have been generated and their payment dates — the answer to what will land this week.
  • Payment and Invoice / Statement Listing: the weekly current account statement; a line-by-line breakdown of sales, returns, deductions and payments. You also see the due dates of your orders here.
  • Payment and Invoice / Invoice Listing: the details of the commission, shipping and penalty invoices that Trendyol issues on your behalf.
  • Current Account Reconciliation: your remaining balance after all sales, returns, payments and invoices have been deducted. Trendyol sends a reconciliation by email every month; if you have an unresolved dispute, think twice before pressing the "we agree" button.

Example: what do you actually receive on a 1,000 TL sale?

Let's make it concrete. Consider a product sold for 1,000 TL VAT-inclusive, weighing 1 desi (desi is Trendyol's volumetric weight unit). The commission rate varies from roughly 5% to 30% depending on the category; in the example we use 20% (it can be lower for electronics and higher for cosmetics and accessories — verify your own rate from the panel). Since the order is 350 TL or more, it uses the full desi tariff rather than the low-value-order brackets. We used88.96 TL + VAT, the 1-desi amount in Aras's 13 July 2026 full tariff; negotiated tariffs vary by carrier and period, so verify the current amount from the shipping agreement in your panel.

ItemCalculationAmount
Sale price (VAT-inclusive)1.000,00 TL
Commission (20% example rate)1.000,00 × 20%−200,00 TL
Shipping fee (1 desi, full tariff)88,96 + 20% VAT−106,75 TL
Platform service fee10,99 + 20% VAT−13,19 TL
E-commerce withholding tax (1%, on the VAT-exclusive amount)833,33 × 1%−8,33 TL
Payout (what you receive)671,73 TL

Roughly 33% of the 1,000 TL sale went to deductions before you even reach the product's cost. Note: 671.73 TL is not profit, it is the payout. Your purchase cost for the product and the VAT liability arising from the sale come out of this amount. To see your real net profit per sale, look at the Trendyol Profit Calculator.

Let's scale the same calculation up: if you sell 100 units of this product per month, your revenue is 100,000 TL, while your payout is 67,173 TL. The breakdown of the 32,827 TL difference — commission 20,000 TL, shipping 10,675 TL, service fee 1,319 TL, withholding tax 833 TL. The seller who does not see this table while setting the sale price is the one who says "there's revenue but no money" at the end of the month. You should build your price backwards, so that after the deductions it leaves the margin you are targeting.

The deduction items, one by one

1. Commission

The biggest item. The rate, which varies by category (and by seasonal campaigns), is applied to the VAT-inclusive sale price and the invoice is issued VAT-inclusive — no separate commission VAT is added on top (this is how the Trendyol Seller Information Center describes it). In the example the 20% commission made a 200 TL deduction; on the invoice this amount is broken down as a base of 166.67 TL + 33.33 TL VAT, and you can treat that VAT as a deductible in your accounting — but it is taken from the payout up front. Check your own category's current rate from the seller panel; commission rates can be updated several times a year.

2. Shipping fee

Charged from Trendyol's negotiated shipping tariff based on the shipment's desi (desi = width × length × height / 3,000; if it is heavier, the kg is taken as the basis). Under the 13 July 2026 tariff, orders of 10 desi or less use two price brackets: 0–199.99 TL and 200–349.99 TL. Orders at 350 TL or more, or packages above 10 desi, use the full desi tariff. Bracket rates exclude VAT and vary between advantageous and standard dispatch terms. Miscalculating a product's desi is the most common mistake that costs sellers tens of lira per sale without their noticing — use the desi calculator tool to nail down your shipping cost before the sale. If the carrier's measurement is higher than yours, you can dispute the invoice (we will touch on this below).

3. Platform service fee

A fixed amount charged for every package handed to the carrier: since 30 January 2026 the standard tariff is 10.99 TL + VAT (13.19 TL total); for shipments labeled "Shipping Today", 4.99 TL + VAT (5.99 TL total) has applied since 15 June 2026. It looks small but grows at scale: for a store shipping 500 packages a month it is an item of over 6,500 TL on its own. On low-priced products this is usually the deduction that eats the most margin — on a 100 TL product it means a 13% share on its own. You can verify the current amount from Trendyol's Platform Service Fee page.

4. Return, penalty and campaign deductions

These are not charged on every sale but on an event basis: for approved returns the product amount previously paid is taken back; for cases like late delivery and failure to supply a penalty invoice is issued; the seller's share of any coupon/discount campaigns you join is reflected in the payout. This is the group that creates the most surprises in the statement — to tell which of them are legitimate you can use the Deduction Check tool.

Is the 1% withholding tax taken from the payout?

Yes. Under the regulation that took effect on 1 January 2025, marketplaces like Trendyol withhold 1% of the VAT-exclusive sale amount as income/corporate tax withholding when paying the seller and pay it to the tax office. Two critical details:

  • The base is the VAT-exclusive amount and is calculated before commission/shipping are deducted. In the example: 1,000 / 1.20 = 833.33 TL × 1% = 8.33 TL.
  • It is not lost money: the withholding is not a final tax, it is a prepayment. It is offset against the tax calculated in your provisional tax and annual return; any portion that cannot be offset can be refunded.

You can work out how much withholding tax you will accumulate by year-end and the offsetting logic with the E-commerce Withholding Tax Calculator.

Why does a payout land short?

A payment lower than you expected usually comes down to one of these four reasons:

  1. Sales that have not reached their due date: not every sale you make during the week enters that week's payment; orders whose return window has not closed carry over to later periods. It is not a shortfall, it is timing.
  2. Return and penalty invoices: returns approved in the same period and penalty invoices issued are offset against the payout. They are visible in the statement, but the seller who only looks at the total amount often does not notice.
  3. Early payment and advertising offsets: if you used early payment in a previous period, or if your advertising balance is covered from the payout, those amounts are deducted from the payment.
  4. Incorrect deductions: a wrong desi measurement, a duplicate return deduction, the cost of a campaign you did not join… These can be recovered by dispute — we explained the entire detection and dispute process step by step in the Trendyol unfair deduction dispute guide.

The first three are explainable; the fourth is money and should be pursued. The problem is that finding the fourth requires downloading the statement every week and comparing it line by line.

Don't do reconciliation by hand

The formula for the payout is simple, but tracking it is hard: hundreds of orders, three separate panel screens, a new statement every week. When you connect your Trendyol account, Verimle pulls every payment period automatically; it calculates the expected payout from your commission rate, shipping bracket and service fee, compares it against the amount that landed, and alerts you to the unexplained difference. Explore the financial reconciliation feature — or first see what you would receive on a single sale with the payout calculator tool.
