On Trendyol, knowing your commission rate is the easy part. The hard part is knowing what that rate is applied to and which deductions get stacked on top of it. In this article we have gathered the 2026 category commission rates into a single table and added a column you will not find in the usual lists: on a 100 TL sale, how many TL actually stay in your pocket after commission, the shipping share, and withholding tax are taken out. Because as a seller, what matters to you is not the rate — it is the money left over.

How does Trendyol commission work in 2026?

First truth: Trendyol does not publish its category commissions in a single public official table. The rates can vary by sub-category, by brand, by seller agreement, and by campaign period. The exact rate that applies to your store is shown on the Agreement Details screen in your Seller Panel. The table below is a set of standard rates built by cross-checking industry compilations dated February to May 2026 — it points you in the right direction, but it does not replace your contract.

The second and more critical truth: commission is calculated on the VAT-inclusive sale price the customer pays. Trendyol’s official Seller Information Center says this plainly: commission invoices are calculated from the VAT-inclusive figures, and no separate VAT is added on top. Example: on an item you sell for 600 TL (VAT included), if the category commission is 20%, the deduction is 600 × 20% = 120 TL — this amount appears on the invoice as VAT-inclusive, and you do not pay an extra commission VAT. For the details, see our article on whether commission includes VAT.

The main source of confusion is that old online guides apply the commission to the VAT-excluded price and then add VAT on top. Even though the intermediate steps look different, the correct practical formula is a single one: deduction = VAT-inclusive sale price × the rate shown in your panel. On the accounting side the invoice is broken down into base amount + VAT; but the total deducted from your payout is exactly this.

A common mistake: calculating commission from the VAT-excluded price. On a 600 TL item with a 21.36% commission, that method gives 106.80 TL; the real deduction you will see on your statement is 128.16 TL. A 21 TL difference per item seriously distorts your pricing decisions across hundreds of orders. Still, the final word belongs to the payout statement: verify the commission line on your own statement once with this formula.

2026 category commission table: rate and what stays on 100 TL

The third column in the table tells you this: when you make a 100 TL sale (VAT included) in that category, roughly how many TL you take home after the three core deductions. The assumptions are transparent:

  • Commission: sale price (100 TL, VAT included) × the rate in the table — the invoice is issued VAT-inclusive.
  • Shipping share: 40.99 TL. This uses the most favorable advantageous tier for a 100 TL order up to 10 desi when the speed condition is met (PTT/TEX: 34.16 TL + VAT). Without that condition, the standard amount is 68.74 TL + VAT; the exact charge varies by carrier and order status.
  • Withholding tax: 0.83 TL. 1% × the VAT-excluded base amount.
  • The per-order service fee, product cost, returns, and advertising are not included — which is why we call it a “rough net.” For the full calculation, use the tool at the end of this article.

* Left = 100 − commission − 40.99 TL shipping share − 0.83 TL withholding tax. For digital products there is no shipping cost; left = 100 − commission − withholding tax. The rates were based on Sentos’s February 2026 list and cross-checked with eticaretmerkezim and Paraşüt publications; the general range is 5–27%. There are deviations at the sub-category level — it is normal for a category to show a different figure in your panel, and the panel wins.

The real lesson of the table is this: on a low-priced item, more than half of the deductions is not commission — it is shipping. On a 100 TL apparel item, commission takes 21.36 TL while the advantageous shipping share is 40.99 TL. The standard PTT/TEX tier reaches 82.49 TL including VAT on that same order. If you sell cheap products, your rival is not the commission rate — it is desi, the speed condition, and the shipping tier.

What gets deducted beyond commission

Commission alone does not explain the amount deposited into your payout. In 2026, these items are also deducted per order:

Platform service fee

A fixed per-order deduction. The standard amount is 10.99 TL + VAT (13.19 TL). Sellers who add the “Shipped Today” label to their products and hand the order over for same-day transport have received the discounted 4.99 TL + VAT (5.99 TL) rate since June 15, 2026 (verify the current figure in Seller Center). If you sell in the 100–200 TL band, this single item means a few points of your net profit — do not leave the label off for nothing.

Income tax withholding (1%)

On marketplace sales, the intermediary platform withholds 1% of the VAT-excluded sale amount as withholding tax and pays it to the tax office. On a 600 TL sale, that is 500 × 1% = 5 TL. This is not an “extra tax” but a prepayment that is offset against your income/corporate tax at year end — but it leaves your cash flow today, so you have to include it in your payout calculation. For the details, you can look at the withholding tax calculator.

Shipping

The negotiated shipping fee varies by desi and by carrier: in the 2026 tariff, for 0–2 desi it ranges from 77.54 TL VAT-excluded (Trendyol Express, PTT) to 121.75 TL (Yurtiçi). For orders below 350 TL and up to 10 desi, the 0–199.99 TL and 200–349.99 TL tiers apply; the speed condition determines whether the advantageous or standard column is used. Check your item’s desi and the current tariff with the desi calculator.

We explained line by line — in which order and under which names these items appear on your payout statement, and when the payment is deposited — in our article how Trendyol payouts are calculated.

Placing commission correctly in your profit calculation

Knowing the commission rate correctly is not enough; you have to place it in the calculation correctly. Four rules:

  1. Fix the base: calculate commission from the VAT-inclusive price on the label, not from price ÷ 1.20 (the VAT-excluded base). In the example above, that meant a 21 TL difference per item.
  2. Do not mix up the presentation: if the rate you have is VAT-excluded, do not forget that 20% VAT will be added on top; if it is VAT-inclusive, do not add it again.
  3. Do not forget the per-order fixed items: the service fee and shipping are deducted as TL, not as a rate. On a cheap product, these two are larger than the commission.
  4. Spread returns and advertising across each sale: a 10% return rate takes a share of every sale’s profit — even if you do not see it.

Instead of applying these four rules by hand on every product, enter your price, cost, and category into the Trendyol profit calculator: all deductions are subtracted automatically using the 2026 tariffs, and it also reverse-calculates the price you need to sell at for your target margin. If you want a broader view of where commission sits inside your profit, the article how to calculate real profit is a natural continuation of this table.

Three frequently asked questions

If there is a return, does the commission come back?

Yes. When the return process is completed, the commission refund appears as a separate line on your payout statement. But be careful: the outbound shipping, return shipping, and packaging loss do not come back in most scenarios. In other words, a return zeroes out the commission but not the cost — we showed where that difference lands in your profit calculation, with numbers, in the real profit article.

Can the VAT on the commission invoice be deducted?

Yes. The commission, service fee, and shipping invoices that Trendyol issues are expense documents; you can claim the VAT within them as a deduction on your return. This lowers the VAT you will pay at month end — so when you do your profit calculation, do not count the VAT on these deductions as “lost money.”

Where do I see my own exact rate?

In two places: the Agreement Details screen in your Seller Panel (the rate in the contract) and the actual commission line on your payout statement (what was actually deducted). If the two do not match, there is either a campaign-period commission support or an error — in both cases it is worth querying the statement line.

Knowing the rate is not enough — you have to track it

Commission rates are updated a few times a year, category rules change during campaign periods, and you only see the actual deduction on your payout statement. Verimle, once you connect your Trendyol account, reads the real deductions of every order (commission, shipping, service fee, withholding tax) from the statement, automatically derives the net profit per product, and alerts you when a deduction is larger than expected. Instead of memorizing the table, let the system track the deductions for you.

Source and update note

The rates in this table are not a binding list offered to everyone as a single tariff; they can vary by category, contract, and campaign conditions. Before you decide, rely on the Agreement Details in your Seller Panel and on your own payout statement.
