Why a floor price matters
Winning the buybox by cutting your price only helps if the sale is still profitable. A floor price is the discipline that separates repricing from a race to the bottom: it is the lowest price at which you still keep your target minimum profit after commission, shipping and withholding tax. Below it, every extra sale widens your loss — even while your dashboard revenue climbs.
Floor vs. break-even
Break-even is where profit is zero: (cost + shipping) / (1 − commission% − withholding%). The floor adds your target profit on top. Set the floor — not break-even — as the lower bound for auto-pricing and campaign discounts, so competition never erases your margin. To model discounts, see the break-even calculator and the profit margin calculator.
Using the floor in repricing
A repricer without a real floor is an automatic loss machine. Feed this floor into your repricing rule as the “never go below” limit. Verimle's margin-protected repricing follows a competitor only down to the floor, holds there, and gives up the buybox on purpose if the rival is selling below their own cost.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum sale price (floor)?
The floor is the lowest sale price that still leaves your target minimum profit after every deduction and cost. Any discount below it drops under your target profit; go below break-even and you sell at a loss.
How is the floor price calculated?
Floor = (product cost + shipping + target minimum profit) / (1 − commission% − withholding%). For example, with a 180 TL cost, 40 TL shipping, 30 TL target profit, 15% commission and 1% withholding, the floor = 250 / 0.84 ≈ 297.62 TL. Enter 0 for target profit to find the break-even price.
What's the difference between floor and break-even?
Break-even is the price where profit is exactly zero (cost + shipping covered after deductions). The floor adds your target minimum profit on top of break-even. Using the floor as the lower bound in repricing and discounts avoids the 'I dropped the price for the buybox but lost money' trap.
Which marketplace is this for?
It's marketplace-neutral — you enter the commission rate and per-sale cost, so it works for Trendyol, Hepsiburada, Amazon, n11 and any other channel. Verify the exact commission rate in that marketplace's seller panel.
How do I use the floor in repricing?
When auto-pricing (repricing), set this floor as the 'never go below' bound. Verimle's margin-protected repricing does exactly that: it follows a competitor down to the floor but not below it, and deliberately gives up the buybox if the competitor is selling at a loss.
Why isn't VAT included?
VAT is treated as pass-through: you collect it on the sale and remit it to the state, so it doesn't directly burden net profit (aside from VAT on margin). To see the VAT-on-margin effect too, use the marketplace profit calculators.
