Invoice rule: base + 20% VAT = the commission above. Do not add another 20% VAT to the calculated deduction.

Trendyol commission calculation formula

Use the amount the customer pays, not the VAT-excluded product base. The calculation has one multiplication:

Total commission deduction = VAT-inclusive sale price × Seller Panel rate

For a product sold for 1,000 TL VAT included at a 20% panel rate, the commission is 200 TL. That 200 TL is already the VAT-inclusive total of the commission invoice. It is not 200 TL + 40 TL VAT. On the invoice, the same 200 TL is split into a 166.67 TL base and 33.33 TL VAT because 166.67 × 1.20 = 200.

Product VAT and commission-invoice VAT are different things

The product may carry 1%, 10% or 20% VAT. That product rate does not enter the total commission formula when the sale price is already VAT included. The commission service invoice has its own 20% VAT, but that VAT sits inside the total commission deducted above. This distinction prevents the two common errors: calculating from the VAT-excluded product base or adding another 20% after multiplying by the panel rate.

“After commission” is not net payout or net profit. Use the Trendyol profit calculator to also deduct product cost, shipping, service fee, withholding tax, VAT and return share.

Which commission rate should you enter?

Enter the rate shown for the relevant product and commercial condition in your own Seller Panel. Public rate lists and the tool's category shortcuts are useful references, but they cannot override your panel: Trendyol also publishes seller programmes with special commission terms. Browse the category commission and profit pages or the 2026 category-rate guide, then replace the shortcut with your exact panel rate before relying on the result.

How to reconcile a commission difference

  1. Use the VAT-inclusive price that actually applied to the order.
  2. Enter the rate displayed for that product and commercial condition in the panel.
  3. Match the quantity and invoice period to the statement you are checking.
  4. Enter the actual commission line in the optional comparison field. The calculator shows the effective deducted rate and actual-minus-expected difference.

A difference does not by itself prove an incorrect deduction. Check campaign terms, order status, rounding and document period first; if it remains unexplained, contact Seller Panel support with the order and invoice details.

Method and sources

The calculator uses the VAT-inclusive commission model explained in Verimle's commission and VAT methodology guide. For current commercial conditions consult Trendyol's official Seller Information Center — Commercial Terms; Trendyol's official current-account API documentation documents the commission transaction fields used to reconcile statements. The exact rate for the calculation must be verified in the Seller Panel.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is Trendyol commission calculated?

The commission deduction is the VAT-inclusive sale price paid by the customer multiplied by the commission rate shown in the Seller Panel. For example, a 1,000 TL VAT-inclusive sale at a 20% panel rate produces a total commission of 200 TL.

Is VAT added on top of Trendyol commission?

No. The VAT-inclusive sale price × panel rate result is already the VAT-inclusive total of the commission invoice; another 20% VAT is not added. A 200 TL total commission is split on the invoice into a 166.67 TL base and 33.33 TL VAT.

Does the product's VAT rate change the commission amount?

Not when the VAT-inclusive sale price and the panel commission rate are the same. Whether the product VAT is 1%, 10% or 20%, total commission is VAT-inclusive price × panel rate. The 20% VAT on the commission service invoice is an accounting split inside that total deduction.

Where can I find my exact Trendyol commission rate?

Verify the exact rate from your own Trendyol Seller Panel, using the commission information shown for your product and current commercial terms. Public category tables are references only; a seller-specific agreement or campaign condition can make your panel rate different.

Can I use the rate in the category list directly?

You can use it as a quick starting value, but for a calculation or dispute you should enter the rate in your Seller Panel. After selecting a category shortcut in the tool, replace the rate field with your exact panel value.

Is the amount left after commission net profit?

No. Shipping, platform service fee, e-commerce withholding tax, product cost, VAT payable, advertising and return cost have not yet been deducted. Net profit requires all of those lines to be calculated together.

Why can the expected commission differ from the payout deduction?

First compare the same orders and quantities, the panel rate at the time of the order, campaign terms and invoice period. The tool's actual-deduction field shows the effective rate and difference. If the difference remains unexplained, open a Seller Panel support request with the order and invoice details.

Can I calculate commission for multiple sales at once?

Yes. Enter the quantity of completed sales that have the same price and commission rate to see total gross sales, total commission and the invoice breakdown together. Calculate products with different prices or rates separately.
