Pazarama commission formula
Pazarama states a commission rate per category. Like Hepsiburada and n11, that rate is applied to the base and 20% VAT is added on top of the commission:
Total commission = (sale price × commission rate) + 20% VAT on that commission
For a product sold at 1,000 TL with a 15% rate, the commission base is 150 TL, the VAT is 30 TL, and the VAT-inclusive deduction is 180 TL. This is the single most common miscalculation sellers make when they move from Trendyol, where the commission figure is already VAT included.
| Line | 1 sale | 10 identical sales |
|---|---|---|
| Gross sale total | 1,000.00 TL | 10,000.00 TL |
| Commission rate | 15% | 15% |
| Commission base | 150.00 TL | 1,500.00 TL |
| VAT on commission (20%) | 30.00 TL | 300.00 TL |
| Total commission (VAT included) | 180.00 TL | 1,800.00 TL |
The per-shipment service fee is separate
Beyond commission, Pazarama applies a fixed service fee of roughly 4.75 TL + VAT per shipment as a separate deduction — it is not part of the commission percentage. On low-price items this fixed fee can weigh more heavily than the commission itself, so include it when you work out the margin. Treat the amount as a public reference and confirm the exact figure and its VAT treatment in your panel and contract.
Which commission rate should you enter?
Pazarama commission runs roughly 8–19% depending on the category — around 19% for fashion and cosmetics, 14% for electronics and 10% for mobile phones — but the only figure that matters for your reconciliation is the rate shown for your product in the Partner Panel. The category shortcuts in the tool are public references to get you started; replace them with your exact panel rate before relying on the result.
Commission is only one deduction
The “after commission” figure is not your payout or profit. Pazarama also charges the per-shipment service fee and shipping, and the state withholds a 1% e-commerce withholding tax. To see what actually remains, deduct product cost, shipping, fees, withholding tax, VAT and expected returns together with the Pazarama profit calculator.
Comparing Pazarama with other marketplaces
Because the VAT model differs, comparing raw commission rates across marketplaces is misleading. Reduce every marketplace to the same basis — total VAT-inclusive deduction as a share of the sale — before deciding where a product is most profitable. The marketplace profit comparison tool lines the channels up side by side on the same basis.
Method and sources
The calculator uses the rate you enter and the Pazarama VAT-on-top commission model. For current commission rates and commercial terms, consult the official Pazarama commission rate list and your Partner Panel. The exact rate, the service fee and the invoice amount must be verified in the panel.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is Pazarama commission calculated?
The commission rate shown for your product in the Partner Panel is applied to the sale price, and 20% VAT is added on top of the resulting commission. For a 1,000 TL sale at a 15% rate, the base is 150 TL, VAT is 30 TL, and the VAT-inclusive total deduction is 180 TL.
Is VAT added to Pazarama commission?
Yes. Pazarama's commission invoice adds 20% VAT on top of the base. This differs from Trendyol's VAT-inclusive model, so when comparing the two marketplaces you must reduce commission to the same basis.
Is there a fixed service fee separate from commission?
According to reference information, Pazarama applies a fixed service fee of roughly 4.75 TL + VAT per shipment, separate from commission. This deduction is not inside the commission; it is taken on each sale in addition to it. Verify the fixed amount and its VAT treatment in your own Partner Panel and contract.
Where can I find my exact commission rate?
Verify the exact rate in your own Pazarama Partner Panel, from the commission information shown for the relevant product and category. The category shortcuts here are public references; a campaign, catalogue agreement or category update can make your rate different.
Is the amount left after commission my profit?
No. The per-shipment service fee, shipping, 1% e-commerce withholding tax, product cost, VAT payable, advertising and return cost have not yet been deducted. Real net profit requires all of those lines calculated together.
When does Pazarama pay the seller?
Payment is made to your IBAN on the contractually agreed day after commission and fees are deducted; it is typically paid in cycles after delivery confirmation. Track the exact payout date on the payment/settlement screen in the Partner Panel.
